In cases when a project is reserved for a customer's preferred translator, the translator can use this feature to indicate in how many hours he will be available to start the translation. Once a translator submits their EST (Estimated Starting Time), a message is automatically sent to the customer, informing him of the translator's suggested timeframe.
A few important notes to take into account:
• Some customers have multiple preferred translators in the same language pair. If there is more than one translator allocated on a project, stating your EST will not result in having the project reserved exclusively for you.
• In cases when the EST is not approved, the customer will have an option to allocate the project to other translators as well. In such cases, an Email notification will be sent to the translator.
• By stating the EST you commit to it. Missing the EST repeatedly may negatively affect the translator's allocation priority.
